Betz Capital
The financial charter of the series.
Betz Capital, 2026
Art Solutions Series, Document No. 003
Accession BC-ASS-003
The starving artist is a financial trader.
This is the financial charter of the series. After the four daily practices have been named and given intensity, the artist’s poverty is recast as a liquidity problem, and day trading is named as the instrument that solves it. It does not argue that art should be funded. It issues a substitution.
The language is corporate and liturgical at once. Betz Capital is both a firm and a signature. The document is signed as if it were a contract that creates the world it describes. Trading is not a metaphor laid over art. Trading is the art. Each session is drawn, erased, and drawn again in price.
From this room the later capital protocols follow. Once the account is declared the work, the cloud, the market candle, the prayer, and the issued white can all be treated as further media inside the same private financial protocol. The body, already claimed as studio in Documents 001–002, now has an account.
Medium: typographic issuance on cream field. Signature in red. The red diamond on the center line is the first appearance of the series’ coordinating mark — later a square, later a candle, later a cube.
Instrument
Betz Capital is a financial solution for starving artists. Day trading is the instrument. Liquidity is the point.
Canvas
Trading is an art. Each session is drawn, erased, and drawn again in price. The chart is the canvas; the account is the work.
Issuance
This document is both an art solution and a private financial protocol. Issued for artists who require capital.
