Execution Protocol

Document 001 named the four practices. Document 002 sets the minimum standard of thoroughness that turns those acts from hygiene into measurable artistic labor. Each column is a rule. The recumbent classical body under them is the site of the work.

Tongue-scraping must reach the back of the throat; sculptural removal extends past the visible surface. The paper ritual continues until residue is gone, or nearly gone — the surface is resolved only when residual matter is absent. The sponge requires sustained pressure, abundant soap, force and time. The aerosol practice is a complete, controlled application: squat to spray the anus, then wipe the edges of the cheeks so clothing is not stained.

This is the first dark room in the hanging, and the first time a classical body is put under the protocol. Document 005 will return to both — execution, and a recumbent figure — once capital has been named. Here the body is still only the studio.
