The last room in this hanging is the most literal and the most withheld. A green cube sits in a pool of issued white on a stained card. A finger in a black sleeve enters from the right, almost a museum visitor, almost the artist after the act. The white has already settled. The instruction is not to narrate it.
Gather. Raise. Issue. Look. Leave. The verbs continue the raised-world sequence but move from speech to emission. Release without aiming. The white remains raised. If Document 006 issued a world with language, Document 007 issues a world with the body used as a tool that painting already knew and finance pretends not to.
The cube is the red square changed in substance — now mineral, now pigment, now a unit of size. Around it the white behaves like liquidity that has left the chart and landed on paper. The issued white is the art.
Private protocol for art labor that cannot be measured. The hands labor. The medium accumulates. The new world is the work. Unmeasurable. Incalculable. Essential.
